My favorite martial arts movie is "Return of the Dragon" with Bruce Lee
and Chuck Norris. The final fight scene in the Coliseum is great! I enjoy
spending time with my family, church activities, working with children,
working out, traveling, and those rare times that I get to rest. I joined
Team Cheng because I wanted to compete in more of a structured team
environment instead of traveling alone. I heard a lot about the team and
wanted to be part of the best. Once I joined the team, Master Cheng
gave me the opportunity to coach and work with children which was truly
a blessing and thus far has been one of my greatest learning
experiences. I joined the team January 2007.I like competing in
tournaments because when I win I feel a sense of great accomplishment.
I also like to watch all of the other competitors perform and get to know
people within the sport. I lead by example and I want my students to see
that the things I teach them to do in competition are the same things I do
when I compete. Those big old trophies are a plus too!. My dream is to
open my own karate school and hopefully, with time and hard work, turn
that into a small chain of 3 - 5 schools in the Tri-State area. My short term
goals are to learn more about martial arts, compete more often, increase
my knowledge of the Bible and my involvement with my church. I would
also like to work more with kids and encourage them to make something
very positive out of their lives.

My favorite movie is Jet Li's "Fearless". My favorite activities are Karate,
basketball, fishing and boxing. I became a team member in 2005, so I
can compete, to go coast to coast and be ranked in WKU. I enjoy
competing in tournaments to meet kids and win trophies. In the future I
would like to follow my career in karate and be a karate master.

hanging with friends, watching TV and movies. I joined Team Cheng
because i wanted to be apart of a team and able to better my skills and
have fun. I joined Team Cheng in  December 2006. I did not like
competing at first but I am getting used to it. My future plans academically
is to keep my grades up. I want to be a neurosurgeon (sike). I would like
to be a psychiatrist, and to also continue my martial arts.
My favorite movie is Jet Li's "The One" and cartoon "Jackie Chan's
Adventures". My favorite activities are playing the outdoor games  at
school recess and playing my game console Nintendo Wii. I became a
part of the team in 2004, because I enjoyed being with my team mates. I
have fun traveling to different places meeting other kids and knowing I
am a part of something that can make a difference and make my teacher
proud. I learn a lot about myself when I compete in tournaments. I enjoy
the challenge and it is fun. In the future I want to get my black belt. When I
grow up I want to be a police officer.

September 2005 because I thought it would be fun and I could be a

My favorite martial arts movies are the "Karate Kids" movies. My favorite
activities are reading, playing video games and sparring. I joined the
Team because I enjoyed competing in tournaments with my friends. I
joined Team Cheng in June 2004. When I compete in tournaments I am
able to see how much I have improved by looking at trophies I have won
over time. I also learn how to improve by watching other children spar
and do forms. I meet new people and have more time to spend with my
teammates. I have many goals for the future. I plan on going to medical
school to become some type of pediatrician . While I am in college, I
would like to teach karate.
